Error Message Resolution –
LE Error – wrong button pressed, Press CLEAR then re-enter transaction.
LE Error + Decimal Point on left-hand side of operator display – this means cashier assignment has been set up and you need to log an operator onto the till: Press CLEAR to clear the error then press 1 & CLERK to log on and use the till.
Using Your CountLab 2 for the first time? Please folloe the instructions below:
1. Unbox till, situate on a flat surface near a power point.
2. Set the box & packaging to one side.
3. Locate the ‘Parts Bag’ containing power lead, till rolls & till keys.
4. Load till roll by lifting up printer cover, placing roll in shiny side facing down with some paper over hanging (see below). Close printer lid ensuring roll is set straight.
5. Connect the till power by locating the supplied mains lead into the 3-pronged power connector on the back of the till.
6. The display may briefly light up then go blank – this is correct.
7. Insert till key ‘Z’ into the mode switch (the LOCK position is set as default)
8. Press the rocker switch on the right-hand side once
9. Turn the key to the REG mode, 0.00 is displayed
The till is now ready to operate.
HOW TO PROGRAM DATE & TIME –
Insert the key marked P into the mode lock
Turn the key to the PRG position
Now enter the date in 6 digit format: 061225 & then press #/NS
(6th December 2025 example)
Then enter the time: 1430 & press X/TIME (2:30pm example)
Turn metal key back to REG and till is ready to use
