Description
The LTB-1 footfall counter is designed to mount overhead either above the door or directly onto the ceiling and provides a solution for locations with inward opening doors or limited space at the entrance.
APPLICATIONS
The LTB-1 people counter has proved particularly popular in council owed, publicly funded, public toilets. Enabling the operators to report back to the council accurate usage figures for budgetary and fiscal reporting. The LTB-1 is also popular in churches or other religious organisations that receive funding from the National Lottery and are required to submit footfall data as a condition of the funding. The LTB-1 is ideal for old churches as they usually have big old doors and the counter can be mounted out of the way above the door.
WHY ORDER THIS UNIT?
All of our units, including the LTB-1 work using a fast reacting passive infra red beam PIR-FR, which is designed to only pick body heat moving through its detection range. This method provides much more accurate footfall counts as are not effected by inanimate objects or obtrusive door swings. In contrast, most competitor models sense using a modulated infra red beam, which can be really badly affected by inanimate objects like doors, glass and lighting hence they tend to over report count figures. Furthermore lots of people counters rely on an expensive beam transmitter to be fitted on one wall and a receiver unit on the opposite side with direct alignment critical.
