AM is one of the most popular frequencies used in the UK for security tagging and stands for Acoustomagnetic technology (58KHz). This technology is known for its ability to work with 44x10mm labels, and can be manufactured as a hidden loop system, pedestals which can be positioned up to 2.4m apart, and even as an under-floor system.
